Julius Pakule

Chief Operations Officer

Julius is an experienced PNG Geologist with more than 15 years of experience in both the mining and exploration facet. He has worked with world class mining projects such as Ok Tedi Mining, Newcrest Mining, Lihir Gold Mine, Barrick’s Porgera Gold Mine and St Barbara’s Simberi Gold Mine. As a qualified Senior Geologist, Julius is a capable Manager who oversees the operation in areas of Contracts and Procurement, Clientele, Marketing and Project Management.

Philip Miscandlon

Drilling Manager

Phil is a senior resources and energy professional with extensive experience across mining, exploration, and energy sectors in Papua New Guinea, Australia, and the Pacific. With a background in geology and an MBA, he combines technical expertise with strong operational leadership. He has led exploration programs, coordinating drilling contractors, logistics, and stakeholder engagement in remote environments. Phil has held senior roles including Country Manager positions in exploration and drilling-related businesses. He is known for delivering complex projects, building effective teams, and managing operations in challenging, developing markets while maintaining strong relationships with clients, governments, and local communities.

Apurel Yalo

Director - Corporate Affairs

Apurel is responsible for managing the company's external and internal communications, stakeholder relations and corporate social responsibility. With extensive experience in this role, she has developed strong skills in strategic planning, media relations, crisis management and sustainability. With a Certificate in Waterwell Drilling for Project Managers, she is passionate about the drilling industry and its contribution to the global energy sector, and strives to uphold the highest standards of ethics, transparency and excellence in her work.

Corporate Team

The corporate team works in close partnership with operations, providing the leadership, structure, and support required to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality drilling services. With strengths in governance, financial management, logistics, and corporate affairs, the team enables operations to focus on execution while ensuring seamless coordination across all functions.

By supporting project management, technical services, and site-based teams, the corporate function plays a key role in maintaining strong communication, compliance, and resource alignment. This integrated approach ensures that operational teams are well-equipped to perform, ultimately driving reliable project delivery and positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
